Engineers and managers whose experience stems from the design and manufacture of clean room transport and material handling systems founded STRATUS Automation in 1998. Maintaining strong ties with Japanese and ASEAN manufacturing partners our mission is to provide to the semiconductor and hard disk industries the worlds best automation systems at a fraction of the cost of our competitors. Exercising design experience and integrity coupled with a firm understanding of end-user requirements the STRATUS team launched the INTELLITRACK^TM Ultra Clean Conveyor System to be affordable to essentially all semiconductor and hard disk media manufacturers.

Stratus is an automation company specializing in clean room material transport and handling automation. Prior to its founding in 1998, all key employees had been engaged in developing, manufacturing, installing and servicing of clean room conveyor systems for several years. Since its foundation, STRATUS Automation has been developing more advanced and sophisticated clean material transport and stocking systems and in the process it has applied for multiple patents related to the conveyor control and control information transmission.

AT Engineering of Penang, Malaysia is an ISO 9000 certified manufacturing partner which gives STRATUS tremendous cost advantage as well as manufacturing capacity.

The mission of STRATUS is to provide to the semiconductor, flat panel display and disk storage industries, the worlds most advanced and reliable automation turnkey solutions at half the cost of established competition. This pricing strategy will make automated material handling affordable to essentially all manufacturers within the aforementioned industries.

Despite its short history, all employees are well experienced in two or more areas of design, testing, manufacture, installation and customer service of similar types of clean room transport systems.

Stratus Automation, with its head office in Silicon Valley, is primarily engaged in R&D and marketing. Electronics and embedded controls are developed at this location as well.
