The IntelliTrack Turn Table is the key building block of conveyor based transport system since it functions as splitter to direct incoming carrier to multiple directions. However very often it is used to turn into fixed direction.  In this case, IntelliTrack turn table's embedded controller performs the task without any command from host controller. This self contained autonomous localized control reduces the complexity of the host traffic control software. 

It is designed to allow  flow-through of laminar down flow with minimal disturbance. 

It could be configured by user as stand-alone simple turn unit or two or three direction splitter unit by simply .   

When used as a simple turn unit, It waits for a incoming carrier at the orientation specified as input direction. It receives a  carrier, executes its rotation, and then off- loads the carrier to the downstream conveyor as long as receiving conveyor is available.   It then turns back to input direction signaling the upstream conveyor to load the next carrier.  This seamless loading and unloading cycle can be performed without host or outside controller. User can re-configure input /output direction by changing a shorting jumper.  This standard function is all included in one low priced package. 

The intelligent embedded controller achieves  totally autonomous self contained control when used as a simple turn or merger unit. It can connect up to four IntelliTrack Conveyors at all four directions using standard interface cable. After specifying input and output directions, either statically by jumper or dynamically by host controller, it simply starts directing the carriers the way you like.
